Your favorite things are: playing with Dada, snuggling blue, commercials ( you know  if the TV program transitions for commercial), grabbing my hair and trying to pull it out, giggling, smiling, listening while Meemai and Dada converse, watching us cook, talk to the phone, and putting your head on my shoulder and cuddle.

Sometimes you are cranky and clingy. Both me and Dada have tough times putting you to bed. but we know this is just a phase and we love you even so.

I recently downloaded an interesting mobile application for the iPhone entitled “Are You Left-Brained or Right-Brained?” it's feee by the way. The description for the application stated that “based on some simple questions, you will find out your hemisphere dominance and learn how to enhance the way you think.”

The final results?I have an integrated hemisphere or what is known as “Golden Brain” (wow, how special am I?). This occurs when you have strong qualities from both hemispheres and neither one is dominant.

Apparently with me having the Golden Brain, I can do the following:

1. I can see the whole picture when processing information but can as well pay attention to details.
2. I like organizing your schedule but enjoy too being spontaneous and changing it whenever you feel like it. 
3. I am good at endeavors that require language, math, reasoning and analyzing but also have a special feeling for the arts and music.
4. I can use my reasoning abilities but also follow my gut which is agreat recipe for success in business.

Happy 46th Birthday Singapore

It's that time of the year again when we celebrate Singapore's birthday!

 On 9 Aug, Singapore marked her 46th year of independence.

and as a tribute to our second home (yes, I consider Singapore now as my second home since a big part of our lives are spent here, e.g. Mason was born here) I post this blog.
Actually, me and Dada have been living here in Singapore for almost 4 years now and so far everything is OK.

I saw this video of Singapore and I was amazed by how beautiful the city I'm living looks like

on the day itself, I promise my auntie and Mason that we will go out in the city to celebrate.
We went to Sentosa in the afternoon to catch a glimpse of the celebration.

while strolling, mason decided that he doesn't want to just sit in his stroller getting cranky and fussy already, so Dada to the rescue and allow to horse-back at Dada's shoulder.

Oh how happy is our little monster ☻

Weekend Bondings: Having Fun inside the house

This reminds us parents what our child really needs. It’s easy to get caught up in the superficial aspects of parenting — wanting to buy the latest and greatest for your children, putting them in all the right activities, etc.  While those things are all nice, they can’t replace the relationship that is built by spending time with them.

Mason is very clingy this past few days, we'd like to think it is due to his fever and colds. He gets cranky when either me, Dada or my Tita Jean (who stays with us for awhile so there is a family member who can take care of Mason) put him down in his crib for a second because yeah we need rest too, he doesn't stop crying, if does stop, that's because we gave up and carry him once more.


Me and Dada are now having a hard time sleeping at night for 4 straight days now.. sigh, we need some sleep. I do pray that my son gets better, the poor guy is sniffing all the time.
