Bonding with Mason

Mason and I went out together today,

We went to my office to say goodbye to my Boss, she is leaving for Australia tom and the team will surely miss her ( I will post the pictures I took and the video I made here soon).

After sometime in my office, we went to Toa Payoh Central

the plan is for us to buy some time while waiting for Dada to finish work so

off we wentto Kiddy Palace to buy new toys for Mason

well I splurge a little since I get jealous of how other kids have lots of toys while

Mason only has few, plus I discover that Mason really loves car and likes stirring wheels so I let my self buy a stirring wheel toy for him - one reason for him to buy a toy.

after shopping, I forgot how hungryI am so both me and Mason went to Subway for a snack,

well super lite snack since Mason doesn't let me eat even one bite of the sandwich. 

In this picture, I just let him sip the straw I used for the softdrinks that comes with the subway meal.

I gave up trying to eat, Mason is very persistent when he wants something, as soon as he saw me sipping the softdrinks using the straw he wants to do the same

as if he knows how, cause until now he refuses to use the sippy cup.

Farewell to a great Boss

Its not everyday when you get to know a person who you have connection, let alone have a Boss who you can talk to like a friend.

Today my Boss will be leaving our Singapore Office to be once again assigned back to Australia. its been 7 months since I have the pleasure to work with Sai, at first I am quite hesitant to be assigned in her team after getting back from my pregnancy leave.

But I know God has his ways and I couldnt be more thanksful. I met not just a great co-worker but a friend too, someone I can openly talk to about professional and personal stuff.

Pregnancy Week: 8th Week. We have a heart beat!

A mother's joy begins when new life is stirring inside... when a tiny heartbeat is heard for the very first time, and a playful kick reminds her that she is never alone

yup.. we're expecting baby #2. I went in for my first real appointment yesterday and after the ultrasound, our doctor confirmed that we are in deed pregnant for #2!

Little bit is hanging out on my right side, it was so awesome to see our little bit waving at us. OK maybe s/he wasn't waving but it looked like it!  Even though this is our second time seeing the baby for the first time, it never gets old. It's still just as exciting as the very first time :)


Boy or Girl? What do I want? (the most asked question thus far)... honestly I don't care. I am equally excited for the dynamic that either sex could bring to our family. But if I need to choose I'd prefer to have a girl this time around.

The check-up went well. I am now 8 weeks and 4 days pregnant based on the size of the baby inside my tummy and the possible due date will be 24 April 2012, yey a Dragon baby!

I'm considering finding a prenatal yoga or fitness class, or a nutrition class that specializes in prenatal noshing, I wanted to fit and ready when I get pregnant. I hope I could find one that doesn't cost much.
My baby is now a little more than ½ inch long, about the size of the rock in Nicole Richie's engagement ring, and is about as heavy as the check Joel Madden wrote to pay for it.

Mr. Chatterbox - Happy 10th Month

Today marks his 10th Month! 2 more months before his real big day!

Mason has been making a lot of noise lately.

I think this is his way of talking and though it may sometimes feel silly, having conversations with him, I think it's a great way to encourage his language skills.

He is practicing his sounds and seeing what he can put together.

While we may not understand him, I believe he knows exactly what he is saying.

One day, what he is saying will make sense to us too!

Things you can now do

Aside from making a lot of noice, he

1. knows how to climb our bed - his all over the place

2. knows how to High-5 - he loves to play a lot

3. can clap hands and can hold his big milk bottle using 1 hand

4. can eat anything - soup, noddles, cake, coockies, banana, apple, chicken

5. fascinated with balloons or anything elevated

6. loves wearing customes - specially his spidey custome

7. knows how to choose clothes

8. can walk and loves horse backriding with dada

9. his so sweet and loves to lay his head at meemai's lap

Were preggers once again, actually this time around we certainly didn't expect it, but never the less we Welcome it with such joy.

I was completely unaware that my body has been hi-jacked by a tiny life-form until I decided to take the test.


Today, I check the pregnancy calendar, it said I am currently in week 4. I got this teeny little miracle taking shape right now. and this week the baby inside me is developing the beginnings of ears, eyes and have little arm and leg buds.


I feel nauseous all the time, during the mornings and late afternoons, I try to keep calm but this pregnancy is nothing like the first one. 

I'm secretly wishing that our second bundle of joy is a Girl ~ don't get me wrong any baby as long as its healthy is very a OK for me but if its a girl I will be so ecstatic.
